The Official UK Albums Top 200 Chart

The UK albums chart is primarily known through the publication of the top 75 listing in Music Week. But, the Official UK Charts Company compiles a full top 200 albums every week.

The UK has one of the largest music markets is the world. Many smaller countries, such as Denmark and the Netherlands publish top 100 album charts. France publishes a full top 150 every week. So why would the UK make do with only a top 75? To be honest, we don't. ChartsPlus publishes the full top 200 albums every week.

Positions 76 to 200 on the albums chart show an interesting mix of music. There are many new and upcoming bands that release their first album and reach only somewhere between 76 and 200. Recent examples are Biffy Clyro (#78), Telepopmusik (#88), Millencolin (#90), Cornelius (#124), the X-Ecutioners (#128) and Clinic (#133). Mixed between these new acts are also many old favourites. Did you know that most weeks the Beatles still have one or more albums in the top 200? The only way to find out, is to subscribe to ChartsPlus...

ChartsPlus, for the top 200 albums, every week.
